For the third straight day, a pod of 34 Risso’s dolphins were driven into the grisly confines of the cove. Only wanting the largest Risso’s dolphins the the use of their quota, the killers immediately split the pod into separate groups, and further drove the largest family members into the killing cove.
Knowing they would never see their family members again, and sensing the impending doom of death on the killing shore, Risso’s dolphins began to frantically and fruitlessly swim through the nets. Once on the killing shore, the killers manhandled each member of the family until they found 1 member of the pod who was suited for captivity, and murdered the remanding 18 family members on the shore.
Those 15 family members who still reminded on the outer edges of the shore were then driven back out to sea where many of them will not survive the grueling process.
