Nothing less of a blood bath today in Taiji as the greedy murderers hastily drove in a pod of 25 Risso dolphins just after leaving the harbor. It was nearly 6:30am and all boats were in formation driving the pod which included babies and juveniles.

A scene far too common as local dolphin trainers and dolphin killers shared a ride from the Fishermans Union to the killing cove. As they shared laughs and smoked cigarettes, the pod continued to circle and spy hop as fear and panic set in. After the skiffs were in the cove, it did not ale long before the entire pod was under the tarps.

3 dolphins were ripped from their family and chosen for captivity. 2 taken to Taiji Whale Museum and 1 taken to Dolphin Resort Hotel all via transfer truck. 4 small dolphins were placed under a blue tarp in an attempt to hide the 2 babies and 2 juveniles that were dumped at sea by the killers.

The remaining 18 dolphins were viciously killed and dragged by tethered flukes to the Taiji butcher house where their meat will be processed, sold and distributed.
